This site is a tribute to Francis Lamport. He is much loved and will always be remembered.
Francis sadly passed away on the 13th October 2020, aged 84 years.
Due to current restrictions, Francis' funeral is for immediate family only.
Donations in his memory will be gratefully received and shared between St. Luke's Hospital and The Woodland Trust.

Thoughts
I have just today learnt of Frank's death. My deepest sympathy to his much-beloved family.
Frank was my tutor at Worcester College from 1980 - 1984. He was a towering man in every sense. Above all, he was simply the kindest of men and the best of tutors. I shall remember him always with deep affection and gratitude.

Dad would have appreciated the setting for our farewell ceremony in Denmark under the beech and chestnut trees by the sea and with deer stealing our apples.
I would have loved to be with you in Oxford, but being here with Kristina and Viktoria was the best alternative in the circumstances.
